Covid-19 Update 24.09.2020

Please take note of the update to our entry policy and changes regarding the service experience at Cafe 1001 following government introduced guidelines.

It is now MANDATORY to wear Face Coverings while on the premises inside or outside at Cafe 1001 unless sitting at a table.

Our staff will all be wearing face coverings from now on while on site at the venue.

All orders for eat in food and drink MUST be made at a table. We have floor staff to take your orders and an APP being created to make this easier.

We are now displaying our own NHS QR Code which will allow you to download the NHS Test & Trace application to your mobile device.

Cafe 1001 will now take last orders at 2130 hours and will close the venue, with all customers exiting at 2200 at the latest.

We thank you again for your custom and for bearing with us during these difficult times. We are trying our best to adapt and hope you will continue to visit us!

Covid-19 Update 09.09.2020

We’re thrilled to be back open and serving our favourite customers once again after a long hiatus but we do have some policy changes which we have highlighted below:

Following the government announcement to crack down on gatherings above 6 people we have decided to make the following changes to our entry policy at Café 1001:

We will not accept groups of more than 6 people on any table.

After 6pm on any day now requires a table booked in advance.

There will be an allocation of tables for walk ups but these will be first come and first served and again this will only be for a maximum of 6 people.

All bookings must go through the website or our ticket links (currently Design My Night).

Once at the venue guests will be required to stay at their table and will not be permitted to wander around and join other groups.

Strictly NO DANCING inside / outside and in groups or around tables.

With your Booking, upon arrival:

Guests will be greeted at the front door by our friendly Front of House staff and shown to their table or an empty table if a walk up guest.

One member of the group will need to sign in to the venue for Track & Trace. We have a QR code on all our tables for easy sign in.

The group will then be given a wristband or stamp in order to allow them to get served at one of our bars.

IMPORTANT: If anyone planning to attend has symptoms of Covid-19, no matter how mild, they should not come and stay at home.

Covid Policy 04.07.2020

The venue is now open from 7am – 5pm Monday to Wednesday and 7am- Midnight Thursday to Friday.

Aim to keep a 2m distance between groups – 1m when this is avoidable.

We encourage you to wear masks/gloves if you feel comfortable in doing so.

Staff will be wearing gloves and masks and we have protective counter screens so you can avoid contact.

Cafe 1001 toilets are open and cleaned regularly. If there is a problem please let us know.

There will be hand sanitiser available for customers inside and outside.

Please do not wait at the bar in groups, designate one person to come to the bar and order for your group to avoid groups at the bar.

We want everyone to have a great day but please respect us, others and yourselves by sticking to the rules so we can organise more sociable events in the future.
