1001 Presents Gerah, Plinio & Zuim

We’re delighted to introduce a new Sunday day party this summer, packed full of vibrant Brazilian and Samba music all day long in the loft. We welcome Gerah, Plinio & Zuim to 1001 for this one. DJ and producer Gerah is inherently passionate about Brazilian music, with his sets focused on showcasing those rare hidden gems of Brazil’s musical treasures. He’s accompanied by guitarist and DJ Plinio, who comes from São Paulo, whose music has a real niche focus within the genre of traditional focus, often vinyl led in his performance. Plinio is also a part of Netil Radio’s collective Ondo Onda. And last but not least is Zuim, events curator and DJ whose mission it is to democratise access to musical knowledge, which he has brought to life through his practice; always inclusive and free events. We can’t wait for this event; the rich musical knowledge behind our booth will truly make for some special blends, entwining authentically traditional Brazilian music with more fresh, new Samba led beats – free entry, bring along your dancing shoes.
