Following on from a sold out NYE, Brick Lane Block Party is back once more this spring, for a special Easter edition on Saturday 30th March. Taking place across hi-fi audio bar Cafe 1001, naughty pizza joint Sleazy Pizza (…The Sleazy Disco for one night only), and east London’s best boozer Brick Lane Tap Room, we are delighted to introduce phase one of our Brick Lane Easter Block Party.
Cafe 1001 will see Haseeb Iqbal’s debut 1001 set, and the wonderful Poly-Ritmo also makes her long anticipated return to our booth, both artists taking us on a journey through their diverse and extensive record collections. Haseeb’s musical taste spans so many beautiful styles of music, taking inspiration from Africa, Pakistan, and Brazil, flitting between jazz, soul, garage & more. Poly’s collection focuses on soul, Latin, folk, & jazz, with rhythmic percussion at the heart of her sets. We cannot wait to see these two grace our hi-fi system!
Joining us in Tap Room, we just had to invite down one of our fave party starter crews for this, and are pleased to announce that Off The Cuff will be taking over the venue for an all night long party. Their nights are always fuelled with an impactful energy, floating from Disco to House to Garage all night long, and based on their previous parties with us this one will be really special.
Sleazy Pizza transforms into the Sleazy Disco, for a salacious night of disco, house, boogie and funk – our very exciting lineup for this room will all be revealed in good time, but what we can tell you is that, as usual, we’ll be slinging out free pizza allll night long.
Tickets start at £12; six hours of music, three venues and free pizza – what’s not to love? Tickets on sale now.
