Cafe 1001 Presents Poppy Richler (Balamii)
Making her 1001 debut this summer is Poppy Richler, one of our favourite upcoming DJs. Innovative and versatile in her art, Poppy is one of Balamii Radio’s DJs, as well as the saxophonist for post punk six-piece Deadletter. Her sets fluctuate from jazz led to ambient, bringing in old school soul and blues before getting more indie and disco led. These are really clever selections, designed to get you up and dancing. Think rare groove, psychedelia and rock, seamlessly flowing from one genre to another – we can’t wait!
